    Kid-paced 2.5-mile loop along the north shore, led by a VAF guide. Meet at the Millerton Lake ranger station. Water, snacks, and shade breaks provided.

    Backyard Beekeeping 101

    Meet a working hive up close. Learn what bees actually do for the Valley, how to keep a small backyard apiary, and safe handling with suits and smokers. Ages 8+ (kids with a grown-up). Suits provided; wear closed-toe shoes.
